Initial Deadline for Interim Party Chair Candidates

We are seeking self nominations for Interim Party Chair to serve our Party from December 2, 2023 through the 2024 State Convention to be held on May 18-19, 2024. All members of the Democratic Party of Hawai‘i that are citizen resident in the State of Hawai‘i, are encouraged to apply as long as they have been a member of the Party for a year as of December 2, 2023. (Article V, Section 2A). The Party Chair’s duties are, pursuant to Article V, Section 3 (1) of the Party’s Bylaws:

• The Party Chairperson shall serve as chairperson of the State Central Committee, and appoint chairpersons of all special and standing committees with the advice and consent of the State Central Committee.
